Barrel Racing Clinics

  • Slow Work & Drills: Utilizing breakdown drills at the walk, trot, and lope to fix bad habits before adding speed.

Ranch Show

• The Focus: Developing a responsive, handy, and versatile horse prepared for ranch events and real-world arena challenges.

  • Ranch Trail Obstacles: Safely navigating logs, gates, bridges, side-passes, and backing maneuvers with patience and precision.

  • Showmanship & Form: Pattern strategy, judge expectations, and how to maximize your scorecard points.

• Best For: Horse and rider teams competing in (or preparing for) Ranch Rail, Ranch Riding, and Ranch Trail events.

Cutting & Flag Work Clinics

• The Focus: Mastering cow sense, quick rollbacks, and hind-end engagement through controlled flag simulation—all without the stress or wear-and-tear of live cattle.

• What You’ll Learn:

  • Flag Mechanics: Reading the mechanical flag, drawing the horse back, and executing explosive 180-degree rollbacks over the hindquarters.

  • Building "Cow Sense" & Focus: Teaching horses to lock onto a target, pay attention to tracking speed, and wait for your cues.

  • Reins-Off Control: Developing a reliable "off switch" so your horse stays soft in the face and stays with your seat/legs rather than anticipating.

  • Live Cow Crossover: Transitioning skills from the flag to reading and cutting real cattle.

• Best For: Cutting, cow horse, ranch sorting, and reining competitors, as well as any horse needing better rate, stops, and hind-end drive.
